He also said the Korean manufacturer of electronics and household appliances have been providing quality products to address the growing demand for LG products in the Nepali market. “We are focused on selling products that minimize electricity consumption and are environment friendly,” he added.
CG Electronics claims LG is the market leader in consumer electronics, home appliances, information technology and GSM products in Nepal.
In the program, Shin also displayed the premium range of new products from LG, including the new LED TV, refrigerator, audio system and mobile phone sets.
Nirvana Chaudhary, executive director of Chaudhary Group, said CG Electronics have come up with a campaign of connecting all the Nepali households with LG home appliances.
“LG Electronics at present has 30 percent market share in Nepal and it is growing at the healthy rate of 30 percent. We are planning to expand our market share to 40 percent by the end of the current fiscal year,” Chaudhary shared. He further explained that though the target is a difficult one, the company was committed to achieve it.
Maheshraj Pant, senior general manager Chaudhary Goup, informed that the group that started its operation by introducing televisions in Nepali market today has made a great stride by introducing 3D televisions.
Ramesh Shrestha, manager of the group, said that the company also aims to expand the mobile phone market in Nepal by introducing mobile sets that are loaded with latest technology. “We will expand our branches and dealers´ network to achieve the target,” he said, adding that the company will also be working toward enhancing after sales service.
LG now has a huge range of products like refrigerators, television, home theater, audio system and cell phones in the market. LG is also the global leader with more than 82,000 employees in 110 countries working through 81 overseas subsidiaries, CG Electronics said in a statement.
