KATHMANDU, Dec 18: National Sports Council (NSC) Member Secretary Yuvaraj Lama said that the state authority would hand over the right of managing and assigning football coaches within the NSC to All Nepal Football Association (ANFA).

Lama made the announcement while inaugurating the 13th general assembly of ANFA in capital on Tuesday. "We have agreed on principle and we will soon send official letter to ANFA handing over the right," said Lama, who spent his 30-minute long inaugural speech to praise ANFA and ANFA President Ganesh Thapa.[break]

"Based on the report of NSC´s high level probe committee, I can say only ANFA and Nepal Taekwondo Association are running cent percent systematically," said Lama.

"As per the programs, ANFA is the most vibrant sports association within the country and it was possible because of the able leadership of ANFA President Thapa," added Lama.

Lama mocked the critiques of ANFA and its president. "Your association and leadership are vibrant and everybody wants to throw stone at you to solace themselves as the winners," said Lama.

Praising Lama in return, ANFA President Thapa said he had not met any member secretary as enthusiastic and cooperative as Lama in his career. Thapa also vowed to support Lama to stay on the post for his full tenure of four years.
