KMC plans to install chain link fence on ring road and construct futsal ground in Dhobichaur

KATHMANDU, Jan 29: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) is planning to install a chain-link fence in the ring road area. KMC called for tender bids for the purpose on Monday. The metropolis has estimated that it will cost Rs 18.94 million for chain-link fencing.

KATHMANDU, Jan 30: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) is planning to install a chain-link fence in the ring road area. KMC called for tender bids for the purpose on Monday. The metropolis has estimated that it will cost Rs 18.94 million for chain-link fencing.


According to the Public Construction Department of the KMC, Mayor Balendra Shah has put forward a plan to install a chain-link fence saying that unauthorized parking is taking place in vacant spaces between main road and track road and there is a problem of dust accumulation.

According to the department, a contract has been called for the fencing in the empty space along the road from Bafal to Basundhara.


Similarly, the metropolis is going to build futsal ground by spending around Rs 7.9 million.


The Public Construction Department of the KMC has published a notice stating that futsal ground will be constructed in Dhobichaur located in Kathmandu Ward-17.
