According to the District Police Office, Ramkali Devi Mahato (40) was seriously injured when her nephew Dinesh Mahato (25) opened fire at her over a dispute related to land.
She is undergoing treatment at Birgunj-based Narayani Sub-Regional Hospital. Police personnel are after the assailant who escaped after the attack.
