MYAGDI, Nov 13: The Lasti-Beni section under the Kaligandaki corridor is being blacktopped.
This is the main road connecting Maldhunga-Beni and Mustang to the national highway.

Information Officer of the Beni-Jomsom-Korola Road Project, Engineer Bishnu Chapagain shared that the road from Farse to Beni is being blacktopped today.
'Two kilometers of paving has been already completed in the landslide affected areas along the 13-km-long Maldhunga-Beni road', he informed.
Earlier, blacktopping was carried out in five kilometers from Kushma Municipality-1, Maldhunga to Jaljala Rural Municipality-8, Nagliwang, Farse under the Maldhunga–Beni road.
A contract of Rs Rs 528.6 million was signed in Chaitra 2077 BS to widen the Lamdhunga-Beni road to 11 meters and pave and blacktop it using asphalt technology.
