KATHMANDU, March 2: The Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Nepal will hold its meeting today, which will last till March 4.
The central committee meeting, lasting for three days, will start at 11 AM at Jyapu Pragya Bhawan in Bholadhoka, Lalitpur, according to Purna Basnet, the head of the publicity department.
The meeting will review the "JSP Nepal with the People, Basic Organization Building Campaign (Janata Sanga JSP-Nepal, Adharbhut Sangathan Nirman Abhiyan)," which the party has been running since last August.

Central activists assigned to form and reorganize municipal committees will present progress reports on their respective work areas during the meeting, Basnet added.
The meeting will also focus on the current political situation and the party's organizational plans.
Party President Upendra Yadav will present the agendas at today's meeting, and central members will discuss them.
JSP Nepal has 241 central members, comprising 201 elected and 40 nominated members. Basnet informed that central members attending the meeting must arrange their stay in Kathmandu for the three-day session.
Basnet also mentioned that the meeting could expand the central executive committee and appoint additional office bearers. Currently, JSP Nepal has 31 members in its central executive committee.
Additionally, the party has a 20-member office-bearer team, including the president, a senior vice president, five vice presidents, two general secretaries, three deputy general secretaries, seven secretaries, and one treasurer.
