RUKUM WEST, May 12 : A man died and three others sustained severe injuries after a private jeep met with an accident in Sani Bheri Rural Municipality-10, Rukum West, on Monday afternoon.
According to Inspector Rishi Pathak, spokesperson at Rukum West District Police Office, the accident occurred near Amalatakuri on the Simli–Timile inner road section after the (Lu Pra 02001 Cha 0177) jeep reportedly suffered brake failure and plunged about 400 meters downhill.

Narbahadur Oli, 50, a local of Sani Bheri-10, died in the accident.
The injured include the driver, Lilamani Bhandari, 44, along with Lila Oli, 44, and Durga Oli, 50, all residents of Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City-7, Dang. All three are being treated at Chaurjahari Municipal Hospital and are reported to be in critical condition.
