Rabi Gupta of Bihar, India was arrested from Takam village with 13 fake Nepali banknotes denoting Rs. 500, according to District Police Office.
“He was arrested after we were informed that he had fake currency,” Myadi police chief Nawaraj Bhatta said. “Gupta had told us that he had exchanged Rs. 10,000 with fake currency.”
Gupta runs a butcher’s shop in Takam and all fake currency has identical number, according to police.
