Chasing a target of 250 runs, New Zealand was bowled out for 205 in 45.3 overs. Varun Chakravarthy claimed 5 wickets, while Kuldeep Yadav snatched 2 wickets. Kane Williamson top-scored with 81 runs from New Zealand.
At the Dubai International Stadium, New Zealand won the toss and opted to bowl. India managed to score 249 runs, losing 8 wickets in 50 overs. Shreyas Iyer contributed 79 runs. Matt Henry from New Zealand took 5 wickets.
