He even admitted to putting stones weighing around 25 kg in the sack to make sure that the sack sinks in the river.
During the press meet, police also displayed the confiscated torch tight, rope, sack, and the motorcycle used by Om to carry the body.

Sonu´s relatives had filed a complaint with police categorically accusing Om for her disappearance. Following the complaint and after the body was recovered, police had arrested Om and his first wife Krishna Devi Shrestha on suspicion of their involvement in the murder.
Superintendent of Police Manoj Neupane of the Regional Police Office informed that their investigation regarding the involvement of other assailants in the murder is still in progress. "Our investigation has not ended. We need to find out whether Om committed the crime single-handedly or others too were involved," said Neupane.
