KATHMANDU, March 27: The House of Representatives meeting scheduled for 11 am has been postponed until 2 pm today. The session has faced repeated disruptions since Wednesday following the government's decision to remove Kulman Ghising as the Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority.
TU senate meeting postponed, next meeting undecided

Opposition parties, including the CPN (Maoist Centre), have been impeding parliamentary proceedings, demanding a response from the government regarding Ghising’s dismissal. On Wednesday, the meeting was initially halted for 30 minutes due to protests and later rescheduled for 3 pm, only to face further obstruction. The session was then postponed to Thursday at 11 am but has now been delayed again.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, meanwhile, has maintained that he does not find it necessary to explain Ghising’s removal in Parliament, despite continued opposition demands.
