KATHMANDU, Sept 3: The low pressure line of monsoon is located near the northern part of Nepal, with a partial influence from the northeastern part of the Bay of Bengal. As a result of which there is partial to normal rain across the country, light to moderate rain is occurring in a few places of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM).
Partly cloudy skies will prevail across the country this afternoon. A few places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and one or two places in the rest of the provinces are likely to receive light to moderate rain. There is a possibility of heavy rain with lightning in one or two places of Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces.

There will be partial to normal showers across the country tonight. There is a possibility of light rain at a few places in Koshi, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces and at one or two places in the rest of the country.
