Guinness edged past Glory English Boarding School 304-232 point with highest 106 points from Sajan Yadav. Similarly, Deshant Niraula scored 64 points, Mahesh Tamata 49 points, Sanjeev Dahal 41 points and Bijay Thapa 44 points.Meanwhile, Ideal Higher Secondary School won the third place honors defeating Sanjibani HSS 290-180. Elvis Rana Magar of Ideal scored the highest 85 points.
The top three finisher teams bagged purse of Rs 10,000, Rs 7,000 and Rs 5,000, respectively. National Sports Council Member Secretary Keshav Kumar Bista and Prakash Chandra Ghimire, the chief of NSC planning department, among others, distributed prizes to the winners.
The tournament was organized with the view to preserve and promote the traditional sports of the country. The two day event played on the league cum knockout format featured nine teams from the capital.
