The anti-graft body filed the case against Joint Attorney Surendra Bahadur Thapa, staffer at the high government prosecutors' office in Pokhara, in accordance with the Section 3 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2000, said Rameshwar Dangal, spokesperson of the CIAA.
Thapa had been caught with Rs 500,000 as kickback from a client for not forwarding a fraud-related appeal to the Supreme Court.
