She said all sides need to work together so the country does not repeat past mistakes, adding that unnecessary disputes in the past had already caused enough damage.

According to her press coordinator, Ram Bahadur Rawat, she stressed that the country should protect what it has already achieved and move forward with patience instead of creating new problems. She urged parties to present their agenda to the people, get approval through elections, and then bring those ideas into practice.

Karki said neither she nor the government sees anyone as an outsider, and promised there would be no discrimination. She noted that several stalled corruption cases have already moved ahead and said the government will not stay silent on such matters. If politics gets stuck in endless blame and chaos, she said, the country will not progress, so the government intends to stay steady and focused.

She also made it clear that impunity will not be tolerated. Referring to cases involving children who died on the streets, she said recommendations from the investigation commission will be enforced.

Karki said the government is preparing steps to control the habit of spending large sums during elections. She urged RPP and all other parties to support a clean and modest approach to election spending.
