He said that the government has now reached a point where it can easily pay the dues to the construction entrepreneurs as per the law. Minister Paudel clarified that the government has not halted the payments of construction entrepreneurs who fulfilled all the criteria for legally settling the claims.

He further mentioned that the government has fulfilled its payment obligations, and thus, it would no longer be relevant for the construction entrepreneurs to complain about not receiving the payments.

On a different note, Paudel said that a significant portion of banks' investments are in the real estate sector. He mentioned that the real estate sector could have a significant impact on the overall economy.

Stating that the banks have invested in real estate only after meeting the necessary criteria, he said that blaming only the real estate investors cannot solve the issues. He mentioned that resolving the problems in the real estate business is a common issue between the private sector and the government, and it is necessary for everyone to work together to solve them.
