Gold price declines by Rs 800 per tola

On Tuesday, the price of gold, which had increased by Rs 500 per tola to reach its highest point, has now dropped by Rs 800 per tola.

KATHMANDU, Feb 26: The price of gold has decreased in the domestic market on Wednesday. Gold, which set a new record the previous day, has decreased today.



According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations, the price of gold has been set at Rs 170,500 per tola today, down from Rs 171,300 per tola on Tuesday. On Tuesday, the price of gold, which had increased by Rs 500 per tola to reach its highest point, has now dropped by Rs 800 per tola.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has also decreased by 30 per tola on Wednesday. Silver is being traded at Rs 1,940 per tola, marking decreases from Rs 1,970 per tola on Tuesday.
