KATHMANDU, Dec 6: Global IME Bank Ltd has opened its extension counter at Khopde in Siddheshwor VDC-9 of Baitadi district. Issuing a statement, the bank said that the extension counter was opened in partnership with Sakchyam Access to Finance Programme.

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Deputy Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari inaugurated the extension counter amid a function held on Saturday, according to the statement.
“In the opening ceremony, the bank organized a program on financial literacy wherein the Deputy Governor Adhikari informed that each house should have at least one bank account and loan should be availed only if there is high necessity of fund,” the statement added.
