According to the CIAA, Minister Chaudhary had taken a four wheeler (Ba 2 Cha 709) on September 3, 2011 as well as 285 liters of diesel, 35 liters petrol and Rs 9,000 as of October 25, 2011.
Chaudhary is also found to have used 112 liters of diesel during field trips. The anti-graft body said these facilities taken by the minister amount to dual facilities and are not allowed under existing law.
"Misuse of state facilities in the form of double facilities by a person who holds a position like minister cannot be taken as something good," reads the CIAA decision, "We hereby order the ministry not to provide the extra facilities and immediately withdraw all dual facilities extended to the minister."
Asked about the CIAA decision, Chaudhari said that he has not misused state facilities as claimed by the CIAA.
"Though I am yet to go through the CIAA decision and can comment on the matter only after doing so, what I can say right now is I used the vehicle but have not taken the petrol or diesel." He added that he was compelled to use the vehicle as the vehicle provided by the ministry did not run properly.
