Seven-year-old Anu Yadav was killed at Sripurjabdi-9 of Sunsari when she was hit by a bus belonging to Matribhagyarekha Travels.
She died on the spot.
Police have arrested driver Dipak Khawas of Surunga in Jhapa and impounded the bus for investigation.
