Girl drowns in pond in Saptari

SAPTARI, Feb 25: A girl has drowned while playing in a pond located at Aaurahi VDC of Saptari district on Thursday.

Police have identified the girl as one and half year old Naina Kumari Mandal, daughter of Bharat Mandal.

The girl's body has been kept at the Rajbiraj-based Gajendranarayan Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital for postmortem, according to the District Police Office (DPO), Saptari. RSS
