According to a press statement released by Foodiplace on Friday, Foodiplace has developed an all-inclusive one-stop digital dining and food ordering platform. The system brings all restaurants and food lovers onto a common platform to help improve the dining experience for consumers while providing a state-of-the-art order management system for restaurants.

Moreover, Foodiplace has announced the start of the first edition of MasterCook -- a virtual cooking contest for home cooks. The competition calls upon food and cooking enthusiasts to submit video recipes and stand a chance to win exciting prizes. To participate in FoodiplaceMasterCook, the contestants are required to record and submit an original cooking video spanning anywhere between one to 10 minutes. The event organizer, Foodiplace has left the cooking style and cuisine choices open, allowing the contestants to showcase their skills on various verticals.

MasterCook will be accepting video entries up to August 21, followed by the voting round starting August 22. The contest will feature awards from two categories -- jury award and social vote award. While the jury award will focus on presentation style and video content, the social vote award will be based on points from video likes, comments, and shares. Each like accumulates to 1 point, unique comment to 2 points, and share to 3.

The winners of the competition are entitled to exciting prizes from the MasterCook partners. The jury award winner will receive gift hampers from Contentder, a Café Déjà vu- Naxal dinner voucher, and 2 Wall Climbing tickets from Astrek Wall Climbing. Likewise, the Social Votes Award winner will take home a Ukulele from JamCorner Music Store. The runner-up of the same category will receive a bungee/swing voucher from Camp Adventures Nepal and wall climbing vouchers from Astrek Wall Climbing.

The event voting will close on September 21. The winners will be announced the following week.
