The documentary has previously won awards and critical acclaim at several international platforms. After winning the top prize at the Nepal International Film Festival (NIFF), its selection at prestigious global festivals is considered a significant achievement for Nepali documentary cinema.

The 35-minute documentary, shot in Humla district of Karnali Province, explores the rare tradition of polyandry, in which brothers share a single wife—a practice still found in some Himalayan regions of Nepal. The film is expected to spark further discussion and interest in Nepali society and culture among international audiences and researchers.
