KATHMANDU, May 31: The health condition of former Chairman of Bibeksheel Nepali Ujjwal Thapa has deteriorated further even as he tested negative for the COVID-19 on Monday.

According to Chairman of Bibeksheel Nepali Party Milan Pandey, Thapa is kept in a ventilator. He is being provided treatment through Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) method. “Although his COVID-19 report is negative, the virus has already left a long-term damage in the body,” Pandey wrote on a social media post.
Pandey said that doctors are trying their best to save him even as his health is extremely critical. “Let’s continue to keep our prayers and positive energy,” he further wrote.
