The NA personnel who were hurt in the avalanche were involved in finding out the locals of Langtang areas missing since the earlier avalanche that was triggered by the earthquake of April 25.
In the last avalanche, 192 locals and tourists were killed and hundreds of others had gone missing.Four, out of the five injured NA personnel, who were said to be in critical condition, were airlifted to the capital for treatment on Tuesday morning, according to Chief District Officer (CDO), Shivaram Gelal of Rasuwa.
Of the five NA soldiers, three were from Narayan Dal Battalion of Dhunche and two from Kathmandu-based Mahabir Battalion.
CDO Gelal informed that the search for the missing will remain disrupted for sometime as avalanches were continuing in the Langtang area.
The four injured army men, who have been undergoing treatment in Kathmandu, are now out of danger, as per a Nepal Army source.
"The NA's rescue team will cancel the search operation until the avalanches stop," said he.
As per the NA source, the avalanche occurred in the area all of a sudden while NA personnel were busy in the rescue operation to find out the missing from the previous avalanches.
Putting their lives at risk, NA men were exhuming the bodies that remained buried in snow.
According to the NA's rescue team, rescue operation has been adversely affected in lack of proper equipments and tools. Avalanches have occurred more than seven times in the Langtang area over the last two months since the magnitude 7.8 earthquake of April 25.
