The arrested are Koid Harijan, 35, Ganga Harijan, 50, Rudal Harijan, 50, Suryabhan Harijan, 32, and Bijay Harijan, 18.

Police had found dead body of Jeevan Kohara, 10, of Kudiya-4 in bushes on Thursday.
According to police, investigation into the case revealed that the boy was murdered ‘to cure illnesses’ of Bijay , son of local Koid.
Jeevan’s grandfather had lodged a complaint at Beltari Area Police Office after he went missing since Tuesday.
The complaint had stated that he saw his grandson playing in house of Suryabhan Chamar for the last time.
Based on the statement, police started investigation in the case after arresting nine persons including Suryabhan.
“Koid has accepted of sacrificing the boy to cure his son due to superstition,” police said in a statement, adding he provided Rs 50,000 for the murder.
