TAPLEJUNG, Jan 23: Two houses were gutted in an incident of fire at the district headquarters Fuling on Tuesday.
The houses of Dik Bahadur Khawas and Dil Bahadur Khawas in ward no-1 of Fuling municipality were destroyed in the fire that began at 4:00 pm today. The fire was put out with the help of a fire extinguisher aided by locals and police after around 45 minutes, preventing it from spreading further, Deputy Superintendent of Police Gyanendra Bahadur Basnet said.

The reason behind the fire is not yet known while details are being compiled over the extent of damage incurred in the incident.
