KATHMANDU, May 18: We all have those days when we feel daunted at the prospect of facing a day at work. Everything about work seems taxing. You can either give in to this feeling of dissatisfaction grumbling endlessly, or you can quietly shoulder on, all the while burning with deep frustration. If this feeling persists, deal with it by taking a few days off work and come back after you've recharged your batteries. But if things don't change, here's what you can do to make life at work pleasant again.

Make the most of your mornings

We know you'd like to snuggle in bed just for a little while longer but it is best if you utilize this time. Listen to the music of your choice as you make yourself a healthy breakfast. Take a walk and enjoy the fresh air. Meditate or recall all your positive qualities which will definitely give you a boost to face the day ahead.Remember that ultimate goal of yours

Each one of us has something we'd like to achieve in life, whether it's making enough money to travel, or start a business. Remind yourself what is important so that you can redirect your focus. Once you have your goal in sight, you know what you are working for and that process becomes much easier to handle. Make a visual board that you can look at each morning when you wake up so that you feel gung-ho when you hit the floor.

Hold on to the good things

Let the saying 'like attracts like' resonate with you on a deep level. And so, be positive about what is in your life. Maybe your boss has good leadership qualities, or maybe you have colleagues who make your workplace extremely pleasant. Fight the temptation to only focus on the negatives. Nothing good will come out of it. Make your office space cheerful and bright to let the good vibes in.

Make the move

Analyze your feelings. Why are you feeling this way? Take introspection seriously now. If you can do something to change your situation, do so. Is it time for a salary increment? Talk to your superior. Or if you are in the job where the harder you work, the more you get paid then start working toward it. However, you also have to be brave enough to accept things you can't change. Ultimately, you might be doing yourself a huge favor by moving on.
