They called the strike demanding declaration of the nine districts under Limbuwan autonomous federal state.Among the arrested are Secretary Bisham Thapa Magar, Mangal Rai, Arjun Tamang, Upendra Ektan, Mohammad Himroj, Sami Paluwang and Amar Yonghang.
They were arrested while forcing the vehicles off the road from early morning and shutting down shops in the area, Area Police Office Birtamode said.
