Purna Bahadur Tamang killed 28-months old daughter Asmita Tamang throwing her from upper floor of the house after thrashing her, according to the District Police Office.[break]
Police said Purna Bahadur threw Asmita while Thuli Kanchhi, wife of Purna Bahadur, had gone out of the house asking for help after Purna Bahadur started thrashing her and the daughter in alcoholic stupor.
Asmita died on the spot in the incident. Purna Bahadur has been absconding, it is learnt.
