Following the order by District Judge Bir Bahadur Dangi, the main accused, 62-year-old Lok Bahadur Ghale, and his accomplices Ishwar Ghale and Ram Krishna Ghale have been sent to district prison. All the accused are from Duwachowr-6.
Lok Bahadur´s 18-year-old daughter had lodged a complaint against her father after she returned home last month, spending three hellish years in an Indian brothel. She said her father took her to Kathmandu in 2007 promising a job, but sold her to a pimp instead.
Lok Bahadur has admitted in front of the police and the government advocate that he indeed committed the crime. He faces a case of human trafficking.
The girl, who escaped from brothel, contacted police on January 24.
During interrogation it was revealed that the two pimps Lok Bahadur sold his daughter to in Kathmandu are already in the police´s most wanted list.
