Extend help for quake-hit victims, appeals NEFIN

KATHMANDU, May 6: The Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN) has appealed all the indigenous communities, organizations and associations related to indigenous people to extend helping hands for the quake-hit victims.

Under the campaign, "Indigenous Nationalities' Assistance for Quake-hit Victims," the NEFIN has been actively working for rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the quake-hit victims in coordination with the government.


The campaign, which is coordinated by the NEFIN, has been supported by other indigenous associations including Adivasi Janajati Mahila Mahasangh, Adivasi Janajati Yuva Mahasangh, Adivasi Janajati Patrakar Mahasangh.

The campaigners have requested all the indigenous people living at home and abroad to extend help for the quake-hit victims saying, "Even a bit of help would prove bigger to the quake-hit victims at this time of crisis."
