A press release issued by Bangladesh embassy in Kathmandu, stated that the special prayer was offered for eternal peace of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives fighting to establish rights to their mother tongue, Bangla, during the language movement of February 21, 1952, and for the peace and prosperity of Bangladesh.
