Election results of Morang’s seven campuses declared; ANNISU (Revolutionary) takes lead

Results of Free Students' Union (FSU) elections held on March 18 in Morang’s seven campuses have been declared. ANNISU (Revolutionary) won in four campuses, Nepal Student Union (NSU) secured victory in two, and ANNFSU claimed one. Elections took place on Tuesday at three constituent and eight community campuses, while vote counting continues in some locations.

BIRATNAGAR, March 19: Results of Free Students' Union (FSU) elections held on March 18 in Morang’s seven campuses have been declared. ANNISU (Revolutionary) won in four campuses, Nepal Student Union (NSU) secured victory in two, and ANNFSU claimed one. Elections took place on Tuesday at three constituent and eight community campuses, while vote counting continues in some locations.


In Ramailo Campus, Kanepokhari, ANNISU (Revolutionary) candidate Anish Karki won the presidency. In Khadam Campus, Kerabari, ANNFSU candidate Sangam Kandangwa secured the position. Meanwhile, in Urlabari Campus, Nepal Student Union's Poshan Acharya claimed the FSU president post.

At Miklajung Campus in Morang, ANNISU (Revolutionary) candidate Sujan Ghimire and his panel won. In Pathari Multiple Campus, Nepal Student Union's Keshar Rai claimed the presidency.


At Degree Campus in Biratnagar, ANNISU (Revolutionary) candidate Pritam Sah and his panel emerged victorious. Similarly, at Biratnagar Nursing Campus, ANNISU (Revolutionary) candidate Rohit Tajpuriya won the presidency.


Meanwhile, at Mahendra Morang Campus in Biratnagar, the latest vote count shows ANNISU (Revolutionary) in the lead.
