KATHMANDU, Dec 27: The Nepal Chamber of Commerce is set to organize the eighth edition of the "Chamber Expo 2025." The five-day Chamber Expo will take place at Bhrikutimandap from January 30 to February 3.
The Chamber of Commerce has stated that the Chamber Expo is being organized for promoting and marketing local products as well as enhancing trade. The Chamber Expo is being held in collaboration with the Trade and Export Promotion Center under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies. The chamber has been organizing the expo annually to boost trade and market local products.
'Nepal Chamber Expo' concludes today
The chamber has stated that the main objective is to integrate the business sector with a special focus on marketing Nepali products. Chairperson of the Chamber Expo Committee, Rastra Bhusan Chakubaji, mentioned that the participation of regional and international business communities would boost interaction among them, and help them closely observe the ongoing economic activities, use of technology, and new dimensions of trade management in the international arena.
The Chamber Expo will feature the participation of businesses and an exhibition of products from Nepal, Bangladesh, India, China, Thailand, UAE, South Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, and other countries.
The expo will showcase handicrafts, vehicles, real estate businesses, food and beverages, clothing, textbooks, jewelry, cosmetics, construction materials, products from small and cottage industries, electronic devices, and other consumer goods.
More than 200 stalls, both domestic and international, will be set up at the expo. Rastra Bhusan Chakubaji, the coordinator of the Expo Committee of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce, stated that the five-day expo is expected to attract at least 50,000 visitors.
