The EC has managed such provision to monitor and take action if any political parties and candidates are found violating code of conduct in the Constituent Assembly (CA) election.[break]
The EC has already written to the election offices in this effect, said Bir Bahadur Rai, Spokesperson of the EC.
The EC has made the election code of conduct effective since July 22 and that formed an Election Code of Conduct Committee Coordinated by EC Commissioner, Dr. Ayodhi Prasad Yadav.
The Election Code of Conduct Officer would report any cases of violation of election code of conduct and other activities everyday to the EC coordinating with the Election Officer and District Election Offices.
On the occasion, Spokesperson Rai said only fewer cases of violation of election code of conduct are reported so far.
