KATHMANDU, Nov 20: The Election Commission (EC) has directed all concerned offices across the country not to postpone elections just because of minor disputes at the polling stations.

The EC has directed all polling officers to take prior consent from the EC if they think that postponement of election is absolutely necessary. EC officials said the EC has directed all polling officers to resume voting if this has been put off due to minor disputes at the polling stations and not paste notice of postponement until 5 PM.
