Following the interrogation with the Indian national, the police have learnt about the nexus between Nepali and Indian smugglers.

According to the police, “The confiscated drugs are available in Nepal only to those with doctor´s prescription. But it is openly available at drug stores on the Indian side of the border making it easier to smuggle them into Nepal.”

With many youths plunging into drug addiction, the demand of illegal drugs has increased in Nepal lately, he said.
