KATHMANDU, Sept 15: United Traders Syndicate (UTS), the authorized distributor of Toyota vehicles for Nepal, has launched the upgraded version of Etios Cross in diesel version.
The diesel variant of Etios Cross was jointly launched by Minister for Finance Minister Ram Sharan Mahat and UTS President Suraj Vaidya and Managing Director Ritu Singh Vaidya at the NADA Auto Show which kicked off on Tuesday.

Issuing a press release, UTS said that the diesel variant of Etios Cross will be showcased throughout the six-day event. "Etios Cross Diesel is a contraction of high and luxury to reflect the image of Toyota -- quality, durability and reliability," the release added.
According to the company, Etios Cross is marginally longer compared to Etios Liva hatchback and has relatively better shoulder room and height. The exterior of new Etios Cross looks more rugged and has an off-roader appearance.
Its exterior comes with single split black grille, trapezoidal grille frame, fog lights, roof-rails and diamond cut alloy wheels.
Likewise, the new Etios Cross's interior is loaded with features like well-furnished cabin, leather-wrapped steering wheel, adjustable head rests, connectivity, steering wheel with audio control, among others.
Other features of Etios Cross include engine immobilizer, keyless entry, and alarms on all doors, according to the release.
