Death toll reaches two in Fisling road accident

CHITWAN, Jan 25: The death toll rises to two on Fisling road accident that occurred after a microbus, passenger bus and a truck collided against each other at Fisling of Darechowk DVC-9 in Chitwan on Sunday.

The District Police Office, Chitwan, said that one of the injured, Ash Bahadur Gurung, 40, of Kawasoti in Nawalparasi district died last night while receiving treatment.Earlier, Ganga Man Gurung, 78, of Kawasoti-13 was killed in the incident.

The Chitwan police said that condition of four injured persons is learnt to be critical and they are being treated in Chitwan Medical College, Bharatpur.

District Police Office Chitwan's Chief Superintendent of Police Basanta Bahadur Kunwar said that the accident occurred when a microbus ( Na 1 Ja 50000) bound for the capital city hit a bus ( Lu 1 Kha 8725) coming from the opposition direction in course of attempting to overtake a truck ( Na 4 Kha 9871). The microbus was hit by the truck too, the police said. The accident site is some 15 kilometers away from Mugling. RSS
