Death toll from Philippine flood hits 100: Govt

MANILA, Philippines, Sept 28: The death toll from devastating floods in the Philippine capital and surrounding areas has climbed to 100, with 32 people still missing, the government said Monday.



In its latest update, the National Disaster Coordination Council said the number of people displaced in Saturday´s deluge had risen to more than 451,000.



The government had said earlier Monday that the death toll was 86.
