DAO steps in to free woman in Saudi Arabia

SURKHET, Aug 29: Local administration has taken initiative to free Devisara Bishwakarma of Deepnagar, Birendranagar-11, who is believed to be in captivity in Saudi Arabia.



Chief District Officer Birendra Bahadur Baniya said a letter was sent to the Foreign Ministry last Friday to free her. In a phone conversation with her husband Dambar, Devisara had informed that she was being held captive.



The district administration has directed the police to arrest and take necessary action against Rekha Sunar, Keshav Pariyar and Dhruba Pariyar, who sent her to Saudi Arabia.
