Dahal’s Secretariat denies Maoist involvement in Shera Durbar encroachment

A statement from Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal's Secretariat refuted a news report titled “Maoists’ involvement in the encroachment of Shera Durbar” published in Nagarik daily.

KATHMANDU, Dec 26: The CPN (Maoist Center) has denied any involvement of its leaders in the encroachment of Shera Durbar.


A statement from Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal's Secretariat refuted a news report titled “Maoists’ involvement in the encroachment of Shera Durbar” published in Nagarik daily. Dahal's personal secretary, Ramesh Malla, clarified that the individual mentioned in the article has not held any role in the party for a long time.

Malla expressed concern over the publication of such an unverified news item, criticizing it as harmful propaganda that undermines the credibility of the media. He also called on authorities to investigate the matter thoroughly and hold accountable those involved in any palace-related issues.
