Commission formed to review implementation of SC orders in transport sector

KATHMANDU, Dec 9: The government has decided to form an inquiry commission to examine whether the Supreme Court (SC)’s directives related to the transport sector have been properly implemented.



A cabinet meeting held on Monday approved the formation of the commission under the leadership of Deepak Subedi. “An inquiry commission has been formed under the chairmanship of Deepak Subedi, with Sharad Adhikari and Yogendra Nath Karmaacharya as members, to study the implementation status of Supreme Court orders concerning the transport sector,” said Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel, who is also the government spokesperson, during a press briefing on Tuesday.
