KATHMANDU, Oct 29: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a corruption case at the Special Court against Police Constable Nhurul Hoda Ansari, on Monday.
The anti-graft body filed the charge-sheet against Police Constable Ansari of District Police Office Sarlahi, who was caught red-handed by a squad of CIAA Bardibas branch when he was receiving a bribe of Rs 30,000 with service seekers assuring them facilitate smuggled goods to Nepal along the Indo-Nepal border.

The CIAA has sought a fine of Rs 30,000 from Ansari in line with the Corruption Prevention Act 2002, according to a press release issued by the CIAA on Monday.
