The CIAA has accused Oli of embezzling Rs 11,454,049 during his tenure at the APF using fake documents. Oli was the head of APF from May 2006 to March 2009.
The anti-graft body has also filed cases against six other police officers of the APF on similar charges, a press statement issued by the CIAA stated.
Other officials accused of corruption are former Deputy Superintendent of Police of the APF, Mahendra Bahadur Karki, assistant sub-inspectors Bin Bahadur Thapa, Munihira Mahat and Shiva Bahadur Adhikari, and sub-inspectors Devendra Kumar Shrestha and Lekh Bahadur Khatri.
As per the CIAA, former IGP Oli had instructed the six police officials to prepare fake documents that showed transportation of logistics and other goods of the security force to various places.
The CIAA has asked the court to recoup Rs 11,454,049 from Oli, Karki and Thapa. Similarly, it has asked the court to recover Rs 2,818,515 from Mahat, Rs 703,035 from Adhikari, Rs 560,952, from Shrestha, and Rs 420,273 from Khatri.
Similarly, the CIAA has sought a maximum punishment for the accused.
On February 1, the CIAA had filed a chargesheet at the court against suspended Inspector General of Police of the APF Kosh Raj Onta and eight other police officers charging them of embezzling Rs 67, 941, 706 by faking documents.
Similarly, the anti-corruption watchdog had filed a graft case at the Special Court on February 7 against former Chief of Armed Police Force (APF) Shailendra Kumar Shrestha and four other staff for their alleged involvement in massive financial irregularities under the pretext of transporting various logistics to various APF units across the country.
