KATHMANDU, Aug 16: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) arrested a government employee Shambhu Prasad Chaudhary on a bribery charge.
Chaudhary, a surveyor at the Survey office in Chabahil, was arrested red-handed at the Pashupati confectionery shop in Chabahil while receiving a bribe of Rs 300,000 from his client, a CIAA official said.

The arrest follows a complaint against Chaudhary that he demanded bribe from his client in relation to the paper settlement of his plot of land in Budhanilkantha Municipality-7, he said. RSS
