Speaking to media personnel after casting his vote, CEC Thapaliya assured that the voting would be free and fair. Voting for the local level elections started across Nepal from 7 AM on Friday and will continue until 5 PM.
Similarly, voting will be conducted at 219 polling stations across Bhaktapur district. There are four municipalities - Bhaktapur, Madhyapur Thimi, Changunarayan and Suryabinayak. The district has 57,270 voters in Bhaktapur, 41,842 in Madhyapur Thimi, 43,105 in Changunarayan and 47,367 in Suryabinayak municipalities.
