The CA has called its next meeting on Friday to pass the report. After that the report will be forwarded to the Constitutional Committee (CC) that is entrusted with preparing a single integrated draft report by incorporating all reports from all 11 thematic committees.
This will be the third report to be forwarded to the CC. CC Chairman Nilamber Acharya recently postponed the CC meeting until further notice after the committee ran out of business.
Acharya has been saying that the CC needs at least a month to prepare the integrated report once it receives all 11 drafts.
The 11 thematic committees forwarded their preliminary reports to the CA after holding votes on contentious issues.
