KATHMANDU, Oct 21: A scooter rider died while undergoing treatment after being seriously injured in a car accident at Mulpani, Kageshwari Manohara Municipality–6, Kathmandu.
According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office spokesperson Nareshraj Subedi, the accident occurred when a car (Ba 5 Cha 8320) hit a scooter (Ba. Pra. 02–027 Pa 6730) along the road section.

The victim, 36-year-old Mingmar Pakhrin, originally from Balephi Rural Municipality–3 in Sindhupalchok and currently residing in Thali, Kageshwari Manohara–6, succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
“Pakhrin was seriously injured after being hit by a car on Sunday night,” Subedi said. “He died while receiving treatment at Shankharapur Hospital.”
Police said the car driver has been taken into custody for investigation.
